You’re a small business owner, hitting the pavement and making your dreams come true. You get excited when you find the perfect home for a client, and they in turn think you’re amazing!  We think you’re amazing too, which is why we want to let you in on a part of your business you may be missing out on.  Branding.

Now, hold on.  We’re not talking about some Yellowstone initiation branding (you can leave any time you want), but rather Branding yourself.  Wait, that came out wrong too.  Let’s try again.  We’re talking about marketing yourself and creating/developing your brand!  Why is this important?

  • Video content, as a result of its entertainment and immersive nature, has a higher engagement rate when compared to other types of content.

  • Videos have a much better chance of being shared by viewers on social media platforms, leading to greater visibility and more reach, due to social platforms’ algorithm preferring video content.    

  • When you return to your roots and share who you really are, it enhances your business by allowing your customers’ to see what makes you unique and creates a connection between you and your customer.

  • A recent study by Wyzowl, 2023 shows that as many as 91% of consumers want to see more online video content from brands.

  • The latest video marketing statistics show that 86% of marketing professionals use video as a marketing tool (Wyzowl, 2021). 

Whether or not you should invest in video marketing comes down to the return on investment (ROI). Here’s a look at some hard numbers: 

  • 92% of video marketers in 2023 say video gives them a good ROI—a record high (Wyzowl, 2023). Just five years ago, 78% of video marketers felt the same way about videos, a difference of 14 percentage points.

Branding doesn’t stop at written content or logo design, but rather transitions to video branding.  Incorporating video for your social media marketing strategy will help you to stand out as the Realtor of choice for all your social media followers!
